People who know about the ins and outs of carpet cleaning know to ask two main questions when determining to use our carpet cleaning services.
1. Do you use the Rotary Extraction method?
A rotary extractor is a large, seventy pound machine equipped with five special carpet cleaning pedals on the bottom. These pedals are spun across your carpet in such a way that each area of carpet is swiped 650 times a minute. Yes! 650 times! The rotary extractor is what enables this Fresno carpet cleaner to get such a high quality clean. The excellent agitation provided by the rotary extractor is what is needed to get the soil off the fibers of the carpet.
After pre-spraying your carpet with an environmentally friendly product that helps break down the soils, our Fresno carpet cleaning service then puts the rotary extractor to use. It swipes its pedals over the carpet while spraying it with hot water, creating the perfect environment to make those soils let go of the carpet fibers. The dirty water is extracted back out through its own hose. The carpet then receives a rinse and further extraction, leaving a deep healthy clean in its wake. Check out our video
of this amazing process!
This method of Fresno carpet cleaning is miles beyond cleaning carpets with a wand. True, it is slightly more expensive than wand cleaning, but the value of the clean far outweighs the cost. With a wand, a technician can only clean a carpet as hard and vigorously as he is able to push the wand. There are no mechanical scrubbing features to a wand. If you happen to be the last clean of the day, or get the technician on a bad day, then your carpets are not likely to get the clean you were looking for.
2. Is your system truck-mounted?
This second question is really all about power. A truck-mounted system is just what it sounds like; a Fresno carpet cleaning system that keeps its machine in the truck or van rather than in a pack on the technician’s back, or even on a portable rolling unit. High quality cleaning equipment is powered by a high quality, and therefore large, machine. Too large to transport without a large vehicle.
The power of a truck-mount system enables the carpet cleaning technician to do two main things that he would be unable to do with a portable machine. One is to heat the water up to 240 degrees; the temperature required to kill whatever may be living in your carpet. Besides just heating up the water, the strength of the machine keeps the water from loosing temperature as it travels through the cleaning hoses to the carpet. This means the water really is the right temperature when it gets to its destination, not just when it starts out.
The second main value of a truck-mounted system is that it properly powers the equipment for rotary extraction. Once your carpets have been scrubbed and rinsed, that water needs to be removed. The power of the truck-mount, combined with the use of the rotary extractor, enables our Fresno carpet cleaning technicians to extract to the very base of your carpet. This means no detergent left in your carpet to re-attract soils AND much faster dry times. In the summer months you can expect your carpets to be dry after just half a day!
